As a trauma-informed Naturopathic Doctor, I’ve dedicated the last seven years of my practice to understanding how the state of our nervous system influences health outcomes.
I have studied somatic relational counselling with the late Dr. Michael Sieck, founder of the Three Fold Way, and honed my coaching skills with Dr. Marti Glenn and Ken Bruer of Ryzio, learning to apply the principles of neuroscience, attachment theory, mindfulness and polyvagal theory to my inquiry process and counselling with patients. I have attended a wide range of lectures and courses lead by experts in the field of psychological trauma, and have completed Dr. Gabor Mate’s Compassionate Inquiry short course.
I use a “bottom-up” or bio-psychosocial approach to working with patients, recognizing the roles that biology, psychology, and socio-environmental factors play in the development of mental health and chronic diseases

The first phase of our work together is The Discovery Phase, a series of 3 consecutive, 60-min visits 4-6 weeks apart which involve:

The second phase is the Momentum Phase, a series of two, 60-min visits plus completion of an online course that will help you acquire nervous system literacy and understanding, and teach you the tools you need to begin to regulate your nervous system with increasing awareness.
Once you’ve completed the Momentum Phase, we determine your readiness for the Deep Dive Phase. In a series of 60-min visits customized to your needs where we begin, we uncover the unexamined false beliefs, or subconscious narratives your mind has created to protect you.
Using somatic practice, breathing and mindfulness techniques, and the principles of compassionate inquiry, polyvagal theory, attachment theory and neuroscience, we will begin to see your body as a mirror of your inner world—your thoughts, emotions, and beliefs.
Every sensation, every symptom, is not a random occurrence, but rather a reflection of deeply held patterns within you. Your well-being is your natural state, but over time, your mind may have created narratives that have pulled you away from it. These narratives manifest physically, not to punish or harm, but to
get your attention. By recognizing and rewriting the mental patterns that have held you back, you take an active role in your healing process.
With a new level of energy, clarity, and well-being, realizing that you are the author of your health story and the agent of your healing process, our work from here on is about maintaining you in a powerful state of consciousness. Visits can be 45-minute, annual or bi-annual check-ups and/or as needed.
